Tech Acessories - Semi detached

Why cant Tech accessories stay attached ?

I hate my Sony Ericcson Blue Tooth Hands-free. It is now become a semi detached hands free, ear free . Its plastic earhook ( that allowed me to anchor it around my ear ) has detached and I wear it plugged directly deep into my ear which makes all my hands free sound like the voice is booming in the exact center of my head . Ouch . Repair ? Replace, more likely .

My HP iPAQ ( how I hate that mobile now ) PDA is also now semi detached - as it has had the cover for the touch screen detach (as a small corner chipped, never to return ) , while I was at the airport yesterday . So basically the sensitive screen is lying bare in my bag , and redialling away , and a large number of irate call-ees, have got several blank calls from an insouciant iPAQ . I have tried to get a replacement , but try getting a cplastic over from the site . The shop didn't get this item - its not available on the net . A plastic piece will cost me 500 bucks, its not anyway available and its SO irritating . And if I don't get it , I damage my expensive iPAQ. Call HP , and they look shocked that you actually want to replace the plastic cover, rater than buy a whole new iPAQ. Why don't manufacturers of expensive de-daddles make less flimsy stuff or give you a spare .

I lost the iPAQ mobile stylus, and apart from not being available , I found it costs Rs 1500 for that slim plastic stick. Hmpf. I could buy a Reliance Mobile with 3 months talk time for that . But I do make a funny picture scabbling in the mud , or the road where I last walked ,by looking frantically for a black piece of plastic. My office security have got used to me running back from the lift to the porch , as I often drop it when I reach the building and get out of the car .

A fancy piece of leather luggage has arrived , but the zip has detached . The EFFORT to get it fixed .

Why are accessories so darn difficult ? Can't they just stay where they should ? I have got a stress knot in my forehead that will get a bulldozer to remove .

Is there some one up on high who is listening ?
